Far East privacy policy

Far East generally does not store any data about you in our records, however when we receive an order from you for delivery or pickup of food we temporarily register some personal data about you. In addition we also store some data in a cookie in your browser.

When you order food for pickup at Far East premises we temporarily register your name, phone number and the food you request. This order is printed in the store for production of your food. After you have picked up your food Far East deletes your data and the order is disposed of.

When you order food for delivery at your address we temporarily register your name, phone number, street address, post code and name, possibly a delayed delivery time preference, the food you request and how you would like to pay. This order is printed in the store for production and delivery of your food. After we have delivered you food Far East deletes your data and the order is disposed of.

The only thing stored in your browser cookie is if you have read and accepted our terms of delivery and our privacy policy.

We would like to stress that when you order food from us online the order is transferred to our supplier/data processor NordkappNett AS (organisation number NO985270953MVA). Far East then fetches your order from NordkappNett AS and prints it out in our store. All data transfers in this process, from your web browser to our store, are encrypted and cannot be read by others.

Should you have any privacy policy questions or complaints you can contact General Manager Zhilian Zhai on post@feast.no

Should you have an official complaint on Far East's handling of your private data you should contact the Norwegian supervisory authority Datatilsynet. They enforce the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Norway.
We do encourage you though to contact us first to see if there are any misunderstandings we could help clear up.
